Tanwarat, or Molly, was born and raised in Thailand. Her journey into digital marketing began nearly a decade ago when she stumbled upon a Google Ads Fundamentals course that Google was offering for free. At the time, digital advertising was something entirely new to her. She’d call it “curiosity at first click”, and that curiosity quickly turned into fascination. She started experimenting, learning on her own, and running small-scale media plans and campaign optimizations for a friend’s business. The more she explored, the more she realized how much she loved it.
Determined to turn this newfound passion into a career, she landed her first job as a Biddable Media Specialist at GroupM, where she spent three exciting years managing advertising campaigns for major clients across industries like banking, luxury brands, automotive, and retail. The fast-paced environment shaped how she approached performance marketing, audience segmentation, and media buying strategies, and it also gave her the confidence to take on bigger challenges.
As her journey progressed, she transitioned into e-commerce, where she gained hands-on experience in conversion rate optimization, retention strategies, and full-funnel digital marketing. From there, she moved to a client-side role, managing paid media for a company with its own mobile app, which exposed her to the full marketing loop—from acquisition to engagement and monetization.
The next chapter of her journey led her to Pizza Hut, where she worked as a Performance Marketing Manager, leading large-scale digital campaigns that combined data, creativity, and automation to drive business growth. However, something unexpected happened—she developed a deep interest in interactive design and technology. She became fascinated by how graphic design, website design, and digital experiences play a crucial role in marketing success.
A New Creative Shift
Determined to expand her skill set, she made a bold decision in 2023 to enroll in a two-year diploma program in Interactive Design and Technology at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. This program introduced her to the foundations of graphic design, web development, and digital product innovation, allowing her to merge her analytical marketing expertise with creative problem-solving.
Interestingly, her first degree wasn’t in marketing, design, or technology—it was in science. Studying science taught her how to think critically, analyze complex problems, and apply structured solutions—skills that have been invaluable throughout her career. As she explored graphic design, she realized how essential visual storytelling is to communication. By studying website design, she learned to create functional, user-friendly platforms that enhance engagement.
Currently, she’s living in Regina, Canada, working remotely as an SEM Specialist at LiDAR Precise Plans, where she focuses on lead generation and paid search strategy for LiDAR scanning services in the U.S. Her role involves optimizing Google Ads campaigns, conducting keyword research, refining ad creatives, and analyzing performance data to maximize conversions and improve campaign efficiency.
Now, standing at the intersection of marketing, design, and technology, she’s more excited than ever about what’s ahead. Her journey has been about blending creativity, strategy, and analytical thinking, and she looks forward to applying this unique combination to craft high-impact, performance-driven digital solutions.
